I created my website so that I can give an insight into my multifaceted world. There are a plethora of paths that I am taking and many that I am due to explore. Many people as how is it possible to want to do everything, so this is my way to show you and them how.
Who is Sarah Noire? I'm a 22 year old aspiring creative, who was born and raised in London, Tottenham.
I am the Co-found of Lyve Corner, an independent media company, as well as a presenter for World of Grime and LocoKickz.
From a young age I always had a love for words, books and writing, this is mainly due to the fact that my dad always took me and my sisters to WHSmith and we'd spend what felt like hours choosing books in a place that became heaven too me. I believe the first time I realised I enjoyed writing was in Year 7, secondary school when we had to write a poem (Either that or I chose to write a poem). I remember receiving so much praise from the English teacher at the time, Mr Ingleby, who stressed to me how advanced my writing was in that poem. Although at the time it was just a hobby and something I knew I was good at, it was only until later years I realised how I could apply my talent to my career.
At the age of 17, I discovered my love for media, film and everything surrounding it, while study Film Studies as an A-Level at City and Islington Sixth Form College. I initially chose to study English Literature and Language, Sociology, Psychology and Dance, however two weeks into college, I realised that I no longer wanted to study Dance academically as it was a drastic step down to what I had previously achieved with dance in the past, such as touring to Memphis Tennessee. By impulse, I changed my course to Film Studies, as I knew I loved films, due to my dadalways taking my sisters and I to the cinema every weekend. From that moment is the best impulsive decision I had ever made, as I wouldn't be where I am today because of it. I went on to study Film Studies as a BA at Essex University where I continued to nurture my talent and love for film. Through university I learnt that Directing and Script Writing were one of the many other talents I wanted to pursue.
At 18, the summer before starting university, I was a Broadcasting Assistant at Reprezent Radio for Jamz Supernova, which was a great experience for me, as I always knew presenting was a natural thing for me and something I innately knew I was made for it. Although it wasn't the right time to start presenting, I used this opportunity as a learning experience.
While Studying at Essex University, I started a media company in early 2015 with a few other peers, Lyve Corner, which allowed us all the freedom to challenge our creativity, as well as create a platform that was good for the culture.
In 2016 I started presenting for World of Grime, which was an amazing opportunity, which allowed me the great pleasure in doing press coverage for festivals such as Strawberries and Creem in Cambridge. Through World of Grime, I have been able to experience visting Radar Radio for a grime clash and supporting the artists, as well as attending numerous Grime events to represent World Of Grime.
In January 2017, I became one of the new presenters for LocoKickz, an awesome platform that sources footwear.
